We are one, of a VERY few Contractors who can do Live Edge Wood Countertops in the Spokane & Coeur d'Alene area.  The Live Edge Wood Countertops embrace the beauty of nature with their unique and organic shape.  The name Live edge refers to the bark side of a piece of lumber.  The bark-side edge is not sawn and the natural shape of the tree remains. The bark is carefully removed to ensure the natural curves of the original tree are left intact. Then the top side is finished for a one of a kind Custom countertop -
 

These pictures are from a recent Remodeling Project that J&S Construction did in Northern Idaho -  The Custom Live Edge Wood Kitchen Countertop was installed in a Beautiful, off the Grid, Self Sustained Hunting Cabin!  That was an experience within itself as we traveled far outside our 60-mile area for one very Lucky and extremely Happy Customer of J&S Construction!
